After long nights of debugging, trying to fix the R412M I found out that the battery is mandatory. Only power over USB is killing everything. So to all, connect at least the battery not only the usb.

But to the point. Most commands of the connection example work perfect.

But the AT+COPS=1,2,“20416” I’m not sure of if it’s working. Most commands are also checkable by ? so AT+COPS?

What should I get back after AT+COPS=1,2,“20416”
Mine’s returning +COPS: 0 or +COPS:2 but never the 1,2,“20416”

And sometimes the: AT+COPS=1,2,“20416” will return +CME ERROR: SIM failure

Yes, for the R412M the battery is mandatory.
For the R410M the battery is not needed.

It’s because the R412M has also 2G so it needs more power during connect.
