Flashing SODAQ One firmware without its micro USB?

HEllo,

My SODAQ One suffered an accident and its micro usb port was torn off… So, I was wondering whether or not it would be possible to flash new firmware into the board without the micro usb but instead using the other I/O pins

Have someone tried this before?

Thanks in advance,

REgards

It is possible to directly program it with an Atmel-ICE or a similar Serial Wire compatible programmer, using the SW pins available on the headers [SWDIO, SWCLK, 3.3V, GND].

Depending on the method used, this might overwrite the bootloader which handles the programming over USB.

You probably should consider trying to solder the USB header back on [or a new one if required].

I would like to do so, but all the padding is gone as you can see in the picture

As far as I can see, the BusPirate device does not properly support, or only partially supports the Serial Wire interface.
