I looked into the Gateway.
Name: Matanga Muiden
Altitude (m): 8
Brand: Raspberry Pi based
Antenna model: Aurel GP
An altitude of 8 m doesn’t give you proper coverage.
You are on the other side of the A1, the big A1 sound wall could block all signals.
The LoRaWAN long range only applies on non urban environments.
In a city the distance is limited by a lot of factors. I have reached a maximum of 2-3KM when the gateway was placed 25m above ground level.
I recommend you to buy your own gateway.
TTN is selling some cheap indoor gateways https://www.thethingsnetwork.org/article/where-to-buy-ttig
We sell a easy-to-use and IP rated outdoor gateway https://shop.sodaq.com/lorix-one.html
Or test with KPN, they offer a 6 month free trial.
KPN Gateways info collected by me (so there might be more gateways)
There is a Gateway in Weesp.
Here you can see how an operator does the antenna placement and they still only say you have outdoor coverage.
