Active Antenna on SODAQ One v2

For the “SODAQ One rev4” there is a jumper on the bottom corner that can be soldered/bridged to support the active antenna.
(as per Can't get GPS fix on Sodaq ONE ;; would be good to list this on the support.sodaq site btw).

Is this also needed for the “SODAQ One v2”? As outside fix is quite fast, but inside fix takes forever…

Hi Jeroen,

This is normal for every GPS antenna.

The powerline for an active gps antenna is always enabled, it doesnt damage the passive antenna’s.
You don’t need to solder anything for the antenna’s on the One V2

My Bad Elf GPS Pro+ is quite a bit quicker, near instant actually; but that one cheats by remembering last position…
and even that thing only shows barely 6 satellites when inside.

Makes sense. Good

Though, in rev4 from what I read in the above link it was not, hence why I asked.
